When to start feeding Immunovet?
Immunovet supplementation can be started anytime, as long as your animal falls outside the labelled contraindications. It is recommended to start to feed Immunovet before the manifestation of any sickness to support a strong immune system and maintain a healthy status.
Feeding can also be initiated right after the recognition of any disease, without the need to wait for the veterinary treatments to start.
How should the Immunovet tablets be fed?
It is recommended to feed Immunovet continuously, without interruption. After the completion of veterinary treatments, it is also recommended to use the product for several – at least 3 - months until your pet completely recovers. If the continuous feeding of Immunovet is interrupted or suspended for any reason you may restart it at any given time later on.
When not to feed Immunovet?
Feeding is not advised in cases of hereditary fructose intolerance or if there is a hypersensitivity to any compound of the product.
Can my diabetic pet take Immunovet?
Yes, diabetics can consume Immunovet, taking into consideration the carbohydrate content of the product.
In which cases should the application be temporarily suspended?
It is advised to suspend the application of Immunovet two days before a planned gastroenteral diagnostic procedure where contrast material is used, and continue after the procedure. In every case the instructions of the veterinarian should be respected.
What side effects may Immunovet have?
Very rarely Immunovet may have side effects, such as unsettled stomach, soft stool or nausea.
Can Immunovet for Pets be taken together with other drugs, preparations?
Yes it can, however if your pet takes high dosage (more than 500mg) of vitamin C, Immunovet should be fed two hours before or after taking the vitamin C contaning product.
It is recommended to feed Immunovet at a different time from other supplements or medications.
What is the recommended daily dosage and when should it be fed?
For healthy animals as an overall health supplement: 1 tablet per 22 pounds (10kgs) of bodyweight daily.
To enhance veterinary treatments and postoperative reconvalescence: 1 tablet per 11 pounds (5kg) of bodyweight daily.
The daily dosage should be fed (right) before feeding time. If necessary, the daily dosage can be doubled.
Storage requirements of Immunovet:
Store in a cold, dry place not exposed direct sunlight. The product doesn't require refridgerating. Keep away from children.
